Annual Open Enrollment Starts November 1st
Posted October 30th, 2009 by Doug.Pine@state...
It’s that time of year again! Open Enrollment runs November 1st through November 30th for the 2010 benefit plan year. This is your annual opportunity to change the health plan option you are enrolled in, or to add dependents.
If you wish to add dependents or to make a change in your health plans, now is the time to do so. If you take no action, your enrollment in these plans will continue as is. You only need to act if you wish to make changes.
During this period, you will have the opportunity to:
- Enroll in a Flexible Spending Account for 2010
- Enroll in any of the four medical plans
- Change from one medical plan option to another
- Add or delete dependents, including;
- A spouse, same-sex spouse, civil union partner, domestic partner, eligible children, and/or any eligible children of a civil union partner or qualified domestic partner. NOTE: Adding a domestic partner, civil union partner, or same-sex spouse requires a Domestic Partner Application or a Qualified Dependent Declaration Form.
For additional information about open enrollment or to access any of the required forms, please visit the 2010 Benefits Open Enrollment web page.
