The annual Workforce Report contains a wealth of information on the characteristics of and trends affecting the State of Vermont workforce.

The annual Workforce Report, as called for in 3 V.S.A. § 309 (a)(19), has been developed to provide data in order to better understand and therefore more effectively manage the workforce of the State of Vermont. Within the Workforce Report there are sections on:

• Workforce Characteristics – general descriptive statistics for the Executive Branch workforce. 
• Workforce Trends – data for classified employees showing five-year trends in areas such as employment, turnover, age, length of service, retirement eligibility, compensation, diversity, and leave. 
• Reports required by the General Assembly.

The Workforce Report also contains the Department of Human Resources’ Annual Report for the calendar year 2009.
