Shumlin Administration and Vermont Troopers’ Association Reach Tentative Agreement on New Contract
MONTPELIER -- The Shumlin Administration and Vermont Troopers’ Association (VTA) announced today that the Administration and the VTA have reached a tentative agreement on a new two year labor contract, subject to ratification by the VTA membership. The existing contract is scheduled to end on June 30 of this year.

The purpose of Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) is to show appreciation to public employees and to showcase the services that public employees provide.
The Public Employees Roundtable sponsors Public Service Recognition Week, which is celebrated nationally during the first full week in May each year. During PSRW, Vermont departments host a variety of recognition events and activities.
