The Personnel Action Request (PAR) is communication tool available to users with a need to notify DHR/HRIS of a variety of employee transactions. Employee transaction such as: standard hour changes (full/part time updates) RIF Reemployment, Higher Assignment Pay, Lump Sum Bonus, etc. can be submitted by Managers and Field Ops.
There are three types of PAR users:
- PAR Requestor – point of contact in a local office with information relevant to employee job-data updates, may include responsibility for department-specific backup, responsible for timely responses to PAR push back from PAR Admin or HRIS.
- PAR Admin – DHR Field Operations Representative with knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements, Policy and Procedure, required backup, and authority to push back PAR to Requestor for additional information.
- PAR View – for those who need to know PAR status but do not require access to generate or manage PAR.
Employees job duties define the need to submit PAR through the designated HR FIeld Operations Representative and is based on frequency of submitted requests.
